Community
At Great Bear, we believe responsible mining creates sustainable value for local communities.
Our goal is to create positive and long-lasting social and economic benefits for the people of Northwestern Ontario, while minimizing impacts and contributing to meaningful community development, long after mine closure.
Our commitment is rooted in participative and collaborative engagement with local communities and other stakeholders. We focus on building long-term relationships that help us understand and support local development priorities, ensuring our presence contributes to shared value outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement
At Great Bear, everything begins with direct engagement. We build relationships rooted in sincerity, reliability, clarity, and personal contact. Engagement is not a one-time event; it is an ongoing conversation. Through community updates, open houses, formal consultations and feedback mechanisms, we work to ensure our stakeholders are informed, heard, and involved.
We are committed to transparency about our Project and its potential impacts, and we view community feedback as essential to improving how we communicate, engage, and plan for the future. By fostering open dialogue, we ensure that local voices help shape the path forward.
