Supply Chain
Great Bear strives to ensure that suppliers share our commitment to corporate responsibility and ethical conduct. Our suppliers are expected to comply fully with Kinross’s Supplier Standards of Conduct, signifying their commitment to operate safely and in accordance with the Kinross Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, including applicable anti-corruption laws, as well as the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, which promote human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. These standards form an integral part of our supplier due diligence process.

Suppliers from across the region and beyond are encouraged to explore opportunities to support the Great Bear Project. While local businesses are an essential part of our approach, we welcome all qualified suppliers interested in contributing to the success of the Project.
Contract awards follow Kinross’s established procurement procedures for competitive bidding, evaluation and negotiation. The steps in the competitive bidding process include a thorough financial and quality assurance evaluation to ensure alignment with Kinross’s standards of excellence.
